What is System Progressive Protection?
System Progressive Protection is a bogus antivirus program which has only one intention – steal money from credulous computer users. Do not trust any messages displayed by this fake antivirus.
System Progressive Protection is usually installed by exploiting internet browser vulnerabilities. Creators of the rogue antivirus are also working hard hijacking websites, which then become an easy entry to your system. Once you visit an infected website, a malicious script then opens up a "hole" in your browser putting a payload in your computer. The next time your computer is started, System Progressive Protection automatically runs itself and performs an alleged virus scan, after which a warning is displayed.
Once the infection is actively running, your browser is modified so that on every page you try to visit, you will get a warning similar to this one:
Warning! The site you are trying to visit may harm your computer!
What is more, this fake antivirus also displays a warning on each app you try to open. We highly reccomend that you remove System Progressive Protection as soon as possible. Follow the instructions below to remove this nasty virus and have your personal data protected.
